[…] About the Book […]
Hi Ladies,
I just read the article in Mass Beverage – I would like to make the “Improved” Holland Gin Cocktail. One question, just how many ounces or parts of an ounce is a bar spoon? Or perhaps how does it equate to a teaspoon?
Thanks very much – Connie
Hi Connie,
Great question – sorry for the delayed response! A filled-level barspoon holds 1/8 ounce of liquid and there are about 6 teaspoons in one ounce. So, a little less than a teaspoon should work. In these situations, I usually add a little, taste, and add more as needed. Let us know what you like best!
Cin-cin!
