I got the recipe I used from an old Esquire’s Handbook for Hosts, but there are plenty of other ones out there.

As a cocktail enthusiast, you probably know where to find things like rye, but for the Catawba wine I had to go to the “very cheap domestics” section and look for the sickly pink looking stuff in the oversized bottle.

Note that pretty much every recipe for it I’ve seen makes a LOT of punch.
